Uncooked
Using spaghetti, chocolate, pho, and croissant as mediators, I map the changes food undergoes through cultural migration into code-based parameters, using p5.js to generative typography system in transformation.
ConceptThis project translates food migration into generative typography. Spaghetti, chocolate, pho, and croissant become coded parameters, such as shape, weight, and texture, within a p5.js system. Regional variations reshape the type through localized rules, allowing letterforms to evolve as cultural expressions rather than fixed identities.

Font DesignI used ingredients like pasta, chocolate, flour, and croissants to create and shape the foundation of my generative typography. The form, texture, and characteristics of each ingredient were incorporated into the design, making the letters both fun and unique.

Generative Typography
Incorporated variables such as seasonings, ingredients, and cooking methods, to influence the typography. These changes are reflected in the texture, weight, color, and contours of the typeface.
