Please Make Some Noise
In The Library
This installation invites visitors to experience the appearance and disappearance of language. Using microphone input in a library setting, text responds to sound: quiet reveals words, while noise causes them to fade, emphasizing language as a living shape.
ConceptThis installation treats language as a fragile, responsive presence. Through sound input in a library environment, text emerges in moments of quiet and dissolves with noise.

InstallationUses vellum paper as its surface, allowing light to pass through the material so that text appears and fades subtly.

DisplayRepeated phrases gradually fragment and dim in response to sound.

As sound increases, legibility gives way to abstract typographic forms, shifting language from readable text to visual rhythm.
